NPGM has designed and manufactured a wide range of Mobile Explosive Manufacturing Unit (MEMU) for the Russian and international mining industry. Our design/engineering department can assist the customer with planning of equipment, best fitted to their needs. The finished product always exceeds the required standards and national regulations.
While NPGM builds loading and hauling equipment, drill rigs, mine fans, its main focus is in the production of MEMU, including 12 and 15 tonne capacity units with a lorry-mounted crane and a belly sweep auger. One of the examples is MEMU MSZ-12-NP-K which is built on the basis of a modern truck. Its configuration allows users to load ammonium nitrate independently. The sweep auger can charge up to 5 drill holes with explosives. All MEMU in this line are produced on the chassis of Scania, Volvo, Iveco, Kamaz and Maz.
Another model in this line is the 15 tonne MSZ-15NP-K, mounted on the Volvo FMX 6×6, which was presented to the public in 2012 during the annual NPGM conference.
We equip all our units with a closed loop hydraulic control system. Charging holes with various formulations is possible without calibration. The automatic system provides an accurate measuring of blasting compounds, ensures full traceability of production processes, and oversees all safety features.
Main data, such as open-cut number, block number, mass of charge, amount of product in individual holes as well as specific formulation, is collected and saved by an archive system. Recording on a flash-drive is also available. Further, the system has a machine output function, that can charge 105-mm-diameter holes.
NPGM is among the rare mining companies which performs the complete cycle without involving third party organizations from designing to operation
