MEMU MZ-3B-8 is designed to transfer initial components of explosives (granulites) to blast site, manufacture of explosives from these components and charge wells with ready-made explosives (including charges in plastic sleeves) at pit mines.

The MEMU is based on the off-road chassis "URAL", which allows using it in difficult road conditions.
